Just a couple of words

First and Foremost -  were always competing with each other.

Stop and Start  - really just couldn’t get things going.

Back and Forth  - were getting nowhere.

Fast and Furious  - really got it on - but it was over in a flash.

Up and Down  - had too many highs and lows.

Rock and Roll’s -  relationship had always been unsteady.

Profit and Loss  - were always arguing about money.

Belt and Braces -  started letting each other down.

Black and White’s - relationship was very monotonous.

Positive and Negative -  were always very attracted to each other.

Night and Day -  seldom saw each other.

Give and Take’s  - relationship was very one-sided.

Pros and Cons -  were always weighing each other up.

Left and Right -  seemed a good match but there was a lot of politics.

Here and There - never seemed able to meet up.

Twist and Turn  - were just never straight with each other.

Bits and Pieces - relationship slowly fell apart.

Near and Far  - was only ever going to work as a long distance relationship.

Trial and Error  - learnt as they went along.

Thunder and Lightning -  had a very stormy relationship.

Push and Pull’s - relationship was mostly  physical.

Hit and Miss -  were never quite sure where they stood.

Wear and Tear’s -  relationship was coming apart at the seams.

And Dead and Buried……… just don’t seem to be around anymore!
